David Rasmussen

Hi, I’m David, ALM Software Engineering candidate. I’ve previously earned an MBA in IT Project Management, as well as a Bachelors in Finance and an Associates in Paralegal Studies. I’ve been an entrepreneur and freelance developer for the last 10 years. I’m a perpetual learner so I easily gravitated to the exceptional academic offerings at Harvard Extension School. My goal with the Software Engineering degree is to help me develop additional technical skills in advancing the goals of my clients and expanding my freelance service offerings. I’m currently bi-costal and split my time between Salt Lake City and Boston.

I’m pleased to accept the role of Director of Technology for HESPS such that I can foster relationships with such an extraordinary group of students, faculty and professionals. I encourage all HES students to join HESPS, even if it’s not your field of expertise. I believe exposure to people that we wouldn’t normally meet is a key benefit of our time at HES.
